Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first
established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country.
CCBRT aims to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable
them to achieve their legitimate potential.
Duties to Include:
*Assisting in the Orthopedic Clinic and surgery as required
*Responsible with pre and post-operative care of patients in the VVF Ward.
*Assisting in the orthopedic and eye wards as required
*Working in the outpatient clinic examining and treating patients
*Conducting minor surgeries within his / her capacity
*Participating in ward rounds examining patients, preparing operation lists and advising senior medical doctors on
patients to be discharged
*Fulfilling emergency on call duties and conducting ward rounds at weekends as required
*Assisting senior AMOs and MMDs during surgeries
*Teaching Junior nurses and doctors
*Awareness raising outreach visits, screening patients on those visits and referring patients to CCBRT or any nearby
facility which provides quality care.
Work Experience / Skills:
*Minimum of twelve years working experience and has undergone relevant training
Qualifications:
*Advanced diploma/diploma in clinical medicine or equivalent from a reputable Medical Institution
*Registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika

*Building strong professional relationships with management teams and with employees and
supporting them on all Employee Relation issues.
*Contributing to the achievement of CCBRT’s strategic objectives by working closely with managers
and directors to ensure the achievement of their business plans and KPIs.
*Championing the performance appraisal process and ensuring appropriate follow-up, with particular
emphasis on training and development needs, career development aspirations and readiness for
promotion.
*Monitoring market conditions to ensure the organization provides attractive and competitive
compensation practices. Assist the HR Director in collating market data with regards to remuneration,
compensation and benefits to ensure terms and conditions of employment remain both competitive
and commercially viable.
Work Experience / Skills:
*Minimum 5 years of experience working in an HR senior position (E)
*Must have strong HR systems and process skills (E)
Qualifications:
*Degree in an appropriate subject (E)

Position Description:

Purpose of the Role:
Provide technical support to operations teams to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability ( pumps, tanks, flow meters, pipe and pipe fittings etc) at the terminals & depots by planning and implementing preventative maintenance programmes
Key Responsibilities
Implements the preventive & planned maintenance as per schedule
Carries out breakdowns and repair works in liaise with Engineering Supervisor/Manager for breakdowns requiring external resources.
Monitors the wear & tear on pipelines, fittings, pumps and other equpment and suggest action plan to address such problems including the need to replace when normal preventative maintenance cannot make them function properly
Maintains and provides feedback on all the service records on daily/monthly bases by communicating the completion of Work orders to the Terminal Manager.
Maintains and tracks stock of critical and or on demand items and timely communicate to procurement Unit for purchases to facilitate maintenance work and minimize delays.
Maintains high standards of safety including contractors ‘involved in maintenance/repairs activities in the terminals as per Company standards
Maintains and sets firefighting equipment in place and updated as and when required and advise the responsible authority in case of any substandard situation or equipment replacement.
Requirements:
Interested candidates must meet the below minimum requirements:
A professional Technical person with an FTC or above in mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering
Excellent track record of successful career in a reputable organization with at least 4 years of experience in similar roles
Able to work independently and in a team, able to communicate fluently in English
Valid driving license .
Computer literacy in various applications
Thorough understanding of safety standards as applies in the oil or related work environment
Possession of Firefighting training from a recognized Institution or work place
